De volgende toeristische attractie in Bangkalan is het fort van Erfprins. Erfprins Fortress, ook bekend als Erfprins Fortress, is een historische plek en een stille getuige van de strijd van het Indonesische volk in de strijd tegen het Nederlandse kolonialisme.


Dit fort is gesticht tijdens het bewind van koning Willem I, dat varieerde van 1817 tot 1848.

Toen de geallieerden echter de Tweede Wereldoorlog verloren, was de controle over het fort gericht op het Indonesische volk.


Sindsdien is dit fort de basis geworden van de verdediging van het Indonesische volk tegen de indringers, of het nu de Nederlandse indringers of de Japanse indringers waren.


Dit fort had vroeger buitengewone faciliteiten. Helaas is dit fort van tijd tot tijd verlaten door onze troepen, dus de huidige toestand van de faciliteit is zeer minimaal en wordt vaak slecht onderhouden.
