Jungwok beach, choices of nature lovers and outdoor activities

Another interesting beach destination to explore in Gunungkidul is Jungwok Beach. This beach is beautiful with white sand and blue sea water. But that is not so interesting on this beach. This beach is not only beautiful, but also quite wide. If you visit this beach, you will see a beautiful habitat of different types of ornamental fish, starfish and different types of seaweed.

This beach is quite hollow. And the waves, like the south coast in general, are quite large and sometimes break suddenly when they hit rocks. The location juts out in the middle of the sea, on this beach there is a big stone called a hat watu, by the locals which means hat shaped stone. There is also a riding hat, like a fishing ground. You can see pandanus plants on the beach.

Jungwok Beach seems quite calm, so it feels like a private beach in Jogja. Unlike Parangtritis Beach. So when you come to this beach for a vacation you feel like a comfortable private beach away from the crowds. You can sleep in a hammock, play beach volleyball with friends or camp with complete equipment, from carrying a tent to a stove to cook.

It is highly recommended that the camping event you are going to host is not just for you or the two of you. Not only exciting to click, this beach is also known for its mystical stories that camp people with horror and curiosity.
